Frequently Asked Questions

  • TitleWise is a research and reporting platform built for title work. It automates the manual stages of producing a title report — extraction, abstracting, formatting, and TPS handoff — and replaces them with structured workflows, AI-powered tools, and direct integrations with the systems already in use across the industry. The platform sits alongside an advisory practice that works with leadership on the operational decisions software alone can't reach.

  • TitleWise is built for the people doing the work of title research, examination, and reporting — and for the operations that depend on that work. That includes in-house title agencies, attorneys with real estate practices, abstracting firms and external research vendors, paralegals and lien searchers, surveyors and genealogists, and anyone whose job involves close reading of public records. The platform supports both individual practitioners and full operations.

  • Most title software was built around the assumption that the work is a series of tasks to automate. TitleWise was built around the assumption that title work is a system — a workflow that involves people, documents, software, and handoffs between all three. That difference shows up in how the platform integrates with existing TPS systems, how it preserves examiner judgment instead of trying to replace it, how it gives leadership real visibility into the work being done, and how the surrounding advisory and services teams stay involved in adoption rather than handing over a tool and walking away.

  • The platform is the software — the day-to-day tools your team uses to research, abstract, build reports, and integrate with your TPS. Advisory is the consulting layer that sits alongside it, working with leadership on the operational decisions software alone can't reach: workflow design, staffing, succession, growth strategy, exit positioning. The platform handles the work; advisory shapes how the work fits into the larger operation.

  • Most operations are working in TitleWise within a few days or weeks of signing on. A product specialist sets up and customizes your account, configures the platform to your jurisdictions and workflows, and works alongside your team during the first stretch of live use. The setup is designed to be quick and supported — not the long, painful onboarding usually associated with new software.

  • Platform pricing is straightforward: $3 per report, with no separate license or seat fees. That structure lets your costs scale with your actual file volume — busy months cost more, slower months cost less, and you never pay for capacity you're not using.

Advisory is priced separately at $300 per hour, scoped to the engagement. Current rates are introductory and reserved for new accounts.

  • Platform support is direct email; every TitleWise client has a line straight to our team, with no tiered support system or chatbot to navigate first.

Operations engaging advisory get something more comprehensive: training resources, support tools, and direct access to the advisory team across the engagement. Both paths skip the friction layer most software companies build between you and the people who actually know the product.

  • Yes. TitleWise is built around the assumption that title work flows across people and teams — examiners, managers, attorneys, vendors, sometimes clients — and not everyone needs the same level of access. Permission settings in the platform let you control who sees which files, who can edit versus view, and which collaborators can be added to which work. Sensitive matters stay where they belong.
